The EVIL-AI project has launched its multidisciplinary steering group to guide research on the societal risks of artificial intelligence.
Our steering group brings together experts from journalism, defense, innovation, education, public health, and foreign policy — all viewing AI through the lens of their own domains. Members represent both large public institutions and smaller foundations and NGO.
The board meets biannually to identify critical research priorities, share insights across sectors, and shape the long-term direction of our research platform.
Last week on Wednesday, the steering group took the stage with EVIL-AI researchers to indicate that EVIL can take various manifestations from robots to AI avatars, it is amplified in AI agent interactions, and poses a serious threat to societies at large.
